Adam "Pacman" Jones SUSPENDED

You know what gets me...??? How this jackass thinks he can do whatever the heck he wants with no consequences. When will Jerry Jones learn??!! I was once apon a time a Cowboys fan. Jerry Jones ruined it for me!! When he came to Dallas, everybody hated the loser that fired Tom Landry. I thought for sure we would have a real life "who shot JR?" moment in BIG D. Well, nobody shot the bastard and here he is still making the Cowboys AMERICAS MOST WANTED. He has ruined what Tex Schramm and Tom Landry built. Not just a great football team, a team that Texas could be proud of, America's Team. Now they are mostly a bunch of over-paid criminals.

THIS IS WHAT JERRY JONES BROUGHT TO DALLAS.
Barry Switzer - Former OU coach that got them suspended by the NCAA for CHEATING and (while the Cowboys coach) arrested at DFW in 1997 for trying to cary a loaded gun on a flight. SWEET!

Michael Irvin March 4, 1996 The most famous Cowboy arrestee of them all! In March of 1996, police burst through the door of Irvin’s hotel room. He was celebrating his 30th birthday and as police poured into the room Irvin was apparently snorting cocaine off of a stripper’s breast. This was only one of Irvin's many misadventures. VERY NICE!!

Nate Newton November 4, 2001 Looking to expand his employment opportunities following his career as a hefty NFL offensive lineman, Nate Newton was arrested with 213 pounds of marijuana in his car. That alone would be impressive enough but FIVE WEEKS LATER he was caught transporting another 175 pounds of weed. WAY TO GO!! He was arrested again a short time later for another large amount of marijuana.

Dexter Clinkscale Clinkscale was arrested for having sexual relations and molesting an 18-year-old “boy” in 1998. YO MOMMA MUST BE PROUD!

Dwayne Goodrich: January 15, 2003 On the evening of Jan. 14 , 2003 , defensive back Dwayne Goodrich, an active member of the Cowboys at the time, was arrested on two counts of vehicular manslaughter. Two young men saw a burning vehicle on the side of the road of a Dallas freeway. The good samaritans pulled over to help and rushed to pull the driver out of the burning vehicle. Unfortunately, Goodrich plowed into them with his silver BMW doing 110 mph killing the would be do-gooders. He then fled the scene of the crime before being arrested the next day. AREN'T YOU JUST A GEM!?

Darren Hambrick was charged with fleeing a law enforcement officer and resisting an officer.

This is not the entire list of arrests Texans have enjoyed over the Jones tenure. These are just the highlights.

IF JERRY JONES WANTS TO KEEP HIRING THUGS AND DRUG ADDICTS TO PLAY FOR HIM, FINE... BUT DON'T ASK ME TO BUY A SINGLE ITEM OR TICKET UNTIL THAT OLD SICK BASTARD IS GONE FROM THE ORGANIZATION. WHEN HE IS NO LONGER AFFILIATED WITH THE DALLAS COWBOYS IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM, I WILL BE AGAIN A COWBOYS FAN.

Sometimes his gambles have paid off. I am probably one of the few people that has grown to like TO. Until he recent mouthing off, he had really gotten his attitude in check. I hope he does not revert to his old ways of behaving. The Eagles were thrilled to get rid of him and his previous, well documented, conceited, annoying, ignorant, pompous, egotistical, pretentious, selfish, self-centered... well you get the picture. That attitude! I really think since his time in the Big D, he has really come around. Let's hope he keeps it in check.

When it all comes down, YOU GUYS ARE FOOTBALL PLAYERS - NOT SAVING LIVES... NOT INVENTING THE CURE FOR CANCER OR NEW METHODS OF SPACE TRAVEL!! GET A GRIP!!

Hey Jerry, how about raising expectations of your players?? Maybe if they thought they would not remain a Cowboy following felony arrests , they might stop embarassing themselves and YOU.

YEEEHAAAWW!

TEXAS BEATS ou 45-35!!! in major upset!!!

I knew we were due!!! The Longhorns rose up and knocked out the #1 ranked sooners. The first quarter started with the sooners in the lead, but the 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarters resulted in more points on the board for the Longhorns!!

What an upset!! The sooners were projected to win by - oh - EVERYONE, except the loyal Longhorn fans!! Las Vegas picked the sooners with a 7 point spread. ou fans put the spread at 50 points - HA

The down side is I lost the pool, but I expected to because my numbers were 9-9. Ugh! No matter, as long as the 'Horns are victorious!!

This put the Longhorns at 6-0, 2-0 Big 12!! Could we be headed for the Rose Bowl again!!

Got to go now; I am headed for an overpass to celebrate on as the sooners tuck their tails and head back across the Red River in defeat!!

HOOK EM HORNS!!

Countdown to the SHOOT OUT

Only seven days to the Red River Shoot Out!! For anyone not familiar... This is the Texas/OU football game played annually in the historic Cotton Bowl. The Cotton Bowl is considered the halfway point between the schools and is the sight of one of the greatest football rivalries ever. It goes back over 100 years. The first recorded game was played in 1900 - Oklahoma was not even a state until 1907. The game inspires a lot of friendly bets and some not-so friendly, but it always inspires a LOT of passion for Texas or Oklahoma. Historically, the Longhorns have won more games 55-37, but this decade has been dominated by the Sooners. This year will belong to Texas!

The Cotton Bowl is a Texas icon. It was the original home of the SMU Mustangs, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Dallas Cowboys. The Chiefs were originally a Texas team before moving to their current home. Tom Landry played there for the Longhorns and coached his first years of pro football in the Cotton Bowl. Sadly, it will not be the home of the Red River Rivalry much longer. The game will be moved to the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium and the lights of the Cotton Bowl will be dimmed. It will be a sad day in Dallas.

I am very excited about next weekends game, but am very disappointed to see that I am probably not going to be able to watch the game from home. ABC will be airing the game; however, I do not have ABC because we do not have a local affiliate and on my satellite, I chose the Dallas Fox Network. I never wanted to live in the city, but I must admit it does have a few drawbacks. So off to Loose Wheels (the local place to be) for me Saturday to cheer on our beloved LONGHORNS to victory!!

Cowboys

What happened!! What was up with the refs in Sunday's game!? I am not the biggest Cowboys fan, but I really hate Washington and the refs made some seriously bad calls that left one wondering... What the heck... that facemask call that T.O. complained about not being called was pretty blatant. That is only one example of the crappy missed calls Sunday. I don't know if they were on the take, or just having a blind moment, but somebody needs to get their crap together. I really don't have much else to add. It just sucked!

There were lots of mistakes made, but I think the worst came after the game... T.O. is letting his mouth overload his a$$ again. Just when I have been defending him and saying that he has changed his attitude since coming to the Big D and has been a team player - he goes flapping his jaws about not being given the ball often enough.

Terrell - you do know that you are not the only player on the field, RIGHT? There are several other great players out there with stars on their helmets too! Not to mention the number of throws that did come your way - just to bounce off the tips of your fingers - a bit reminicent of Tony Dorsett. My dad used to call him "Fumble Fingers Dorsett". T.O. I know you are not fumbling the ball - that would imply you caught it before it got away! Dude, shut your trap and just play ball!! Don't be the jerk that the Eagles were so glad to be rid of!
